A Very Special Post

Well, maybe it isn't special enough to be on a daytime soap opera, but it's pretty close. My next post will be a big one. Well, not long, but important. Why? Because A: This is my last June post since we're leaving for AGPC tomorrow, so next time it will be August, B: When I do my next post my biggest doll-related dream will have come true, and C: On my next post I will officially have 20 18'' AGs! So yeah, I'm really excited! I'm going to try to take a picture of everything there:) So, I vowed not to take anymore than 3 pictures before we get to AGPC. So, in case you don't already know, I'm going to get #38 with the long red Julie hair and bangs with hazel eyes and freckles. Her name will be Gwendolyn March Sieanna. I still haven't packed, I know what clothes I'm taking, I just haven't put them in the suitcase yet. Yet, Christina has been packed for a couple of weeks now.

-Phoebe
Hello! It's Chrissa, the new mayor of Dollville. First of all thank you everyone that voted, every vote counts! It is such an honor to be the new mayor of our town, all of the candidates were fit for the job, so I am extremely thankful to have gotten this position! As my first action as mayor, I am creating a form of currency, so it will be a better, more organized doll civilization. Also, I will appoint Molly, who's idea this was, as head of our committee which will help with decisions like what to do with extra space, or how to organize something. Now that I am Mayor, I will be posting certain things, so I'll see you soon!!

Happy Birthday, Christina! (part 1)

Yesterday, July 27th, was Christina's birthday, and, I had a party!

It was a lovely July morning, July 27th to be exact, and Christina awoke to. . .
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Wow! This is amazing, thank you everybody! The decorations are soo pretty!" a very surprised Christina said.

The floor decorations.

Ceiling decorations.

Happy 11th Birthday Christina sign.
A curtain and part of a cute catalogue page.

"But, there's more where this came from," Nicole said grabbing her cousin by the arm.

"What else is there, Nicole?"

"Molly Ann! You're here!' Christina exclaimed, glad her friend was off the top of the bookshelf for her party.
"Well of course I'm here!" Molly Ann replied.

And with that the girls practically leaped into each other's arms.

So then, everyone was gathered in living room.

"So, how about some breakfast?" Marisol inquired.
"Presents, then breakfast," Christina replied.

So, Samantha Mae, since she was my most recent addition to the gang, got the honors of presenting Christina with her gifts.

Envelope front.
Envelope back. I wrote "American Girl" on the flaps to make it more decorative.

Card front. There's something about kites and dolls that I think go really well together.

Card inside, every body wrote a message, well nearly everybody. I'm kicking myself because I forgot to make the Bitty Twins sign it!

Card back. Nicole signed it there since she is Christina's best friend and cousin.

After the card was read, she dove into the first bag!

"Oooh, matching purses," Christina exclaimed.
"One is for you and one is for Nicole," Cammrie explained.
"I can take mine to AGPC!" Christina remarked.
"Arg, this is a big bag!" said Christina, taking hold of the second bag.

"Aww, a Rescue Pet! And it's black, just like my dogs!"

"What else is there?"

"A Puppy in my Pocket house!"

"And a little dog, with accessories!"

"Thanks for the gifts, you guys, I love them!" Christina thanked, "Now bring on the cake!"

So Marisol carried in the cake.

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you. Happy birthday Christina, happy birthday to-"

"YYYYYYYOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!"

So she blew out the "candles" and there was much applause.
"This is great but, cake for breakfast?" she asked, confused.
"Nope," Marisol said as she carried over a cup of Hot Chocolate and a plate of pancakes.

"This is the best birthday ever! I never want it to end!"
THE END!
Part two coming soon!

Phoebe
P.S. 5 more days!!!!!!!!!

Moment of the Day: Day 4

Sorry I haven't done this in a while!
This is a picture of Mia, Molly, and part of Emily at my Christmas party last year. My newest doll at that time was Alyssa. So I had 11, not including the Bitty Twins. Wow, less than a year ago I had 11 and now I have 19!:) But, at the party they had a Christmas dinner. You might not be able to tell, but on Molly's plate there is something brown, green, orange, and white, that's "food" I made that is supposed to be turkey, green beans, sweet potatoes(eww), and mashed potatoes. They also went "caroling", played a game, had hot chocolate, and, since this was a sleepover, had a gift exchange the next morning! Mia was very lucky and got Mini Emily, and the only other one I can remember is that Julie got her bike.

Christina's Surgery

So today I'm finally going to show you my pics of Christina's surgery.

Here are here limbs before, shocking, right? And before you get all freaked out about me abusing her, I DON'T I got the doll when I was 4, so I didn't know to much about how she should be handled.
Here's the supplies I used, a doll with loose limbs, 4 hair elastics or rubber bands, and a bowl for the stuffing. I didn't take pictures of the procedure because I wanted it to be over ASAP. But, first I took off her head and pulled out all of her stuffing. It wasn't as creepy as you would think. All in all, the stuffing was overflowing the bowl! And then I took an elastic and wrapped it in between the metal part and the plastic half sphere thingy on her limb elastic. I did each limb. Finally I stuffed her up and put little Chrissie's head back on. Putting the stuffing back in took AGES!
And after! It isn't perfect, but much better! Christina is a very happy doll!
PLD,
Phoebe
WARNING: DO NOT DO THIS OR ANY OTHER DOLL PROCEDURE WITH OUT YOUR PARENT'S PERMISSION!

Amazing Bookstore Find!

Earlier today I went to a Half Off Bookstore, and, me being me, I had to look at the AG books. And I found. . . .

Three old Addy books! It was a great deal, $3 a piece. But these aren't your ordinary Addy books. There is something special about them.

Notice anything odd? This is a bad pic, but you can still see something different.

Here it is next to my Kaya book. See that little shape at the end of the Addy book? That's a crown that shows it's from Hallmark!

There's the back cover, see that it says The American Girls Collection from Hallmark.

And Hallmark is written on the title page, too. These are my first AG items from Hallmark. Do you have any?

PLD,
Phoebe

P.S. I'll have some pictures of Christina's Surgery, as well as some other pics, up soon! Please vote in the Election!

It's Official!!!!

Ooooooooooooooooooooooooh! I'm really excited!!! Because, I'M GOING TO AMERICAN GIRL PLACE CHICAGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, you read that right. I've never been before and have dreamed of going for a few years now. So, yeah. We have our dining reservations for lunch on August 1st and my sweet baby dog, Kimi, has her appointment for Doggie "Camp". So, right now I'm planning on getting #38 and most of the cute store only items. I've been saving my money for a while now. So, I am really, really thrilled. I'm taking Christina with me. Her operation went great, her limbs aren't perfect, but they are MUCH better. So, have any of you been to an AG place? I would love to hear what you thought if you went to Chicago (or anywhere else, for that matter)!

PLD(and AGPC),

A very happy Phoebe

Meet the Canidates: Nicole

Hello, this is your favorite canidate, Nicole Smith, with my campain promises! So first, the hot button issue, organization. The room is a mess, everyone knows it, and I would form groups to help clean little parts at a time. So everyone would have their section that they are responsible for and the house would stay cleaner than ever! I also promise to get good locatoins for each shop so that the shop owners are happy. But, unlike a proir canidate, I do not not find a form of currency neccesary, everyone is happy just the way it is. Also, I agree with Molly in some ways, we need a better school system, but only for those that wish to be part of it.

Now, remember your vote counts, so vote today!

Nicole

Meet the Canidates: Chrissa

It's Chrissa Maxwell here, and I have some important things to say. First of all, I love our town and think that nearly everything is perfect. But, there are two things I would change. First of all, we need organization, the place is a mess!! I would help organize our things and help get Alyssa's Salon up and running! Also, we need a form of currency! So far, we have had none, but that needs to change. That way, those working would have a purpose for working and more dolls could get to work and not be sitting around all day. If I am elected, this town will be better that ever!!

So remember, Vote Chrissa!!

P.S. (From Phoebe) Christina is going to have her surgery in a little while, wish us luck!

New Design and Whats up with Christina

You may have noticed the new design. The hearts just weren't working for me. I really like the new colors. BUT the paw prints aren't related to dolls.

So I decided that Christina will have her surgery. It will be frightening, but she needs it if she's coming on the trip. Also I was very disappointed when I only got one comment on that post, I would appreciate if more people commented.

Ya know how I said that when I got #38 I wouldn't play on Innerstar U? Well, right now I'm trying the free version, and it's pretty cool. I'm still getting #38 because I love the doll, but, even though it's a lame scam, I'll probably put her on Innerstar U! I know, I'm going back on my word, but hey, anyone else that got a new MAG would put her on, too.

PLD,

Phoebe

P.S. That is a picture of my Toy Poodle, Kimi.

Meet the Canidates: Marisol

Hello everyone, it's Marisol and I am here to give you my campain promises. If I were elected, I would help with the town. I would give Sacs et Chapauex more room, and fix any problems you may have with The Wicker Suitcase and The Doll Mart. As well as get the stable and Alyssa's Spa up and running. I would also provide cooking lessons to those who choose so everyone could prepare the food they want when they want it. I may not have as many promises as other canidates but I assure you that I am a good doll and will do what I think is right for our town.

So remember, Vote Marisol! But most importantly, VOTE!

Marisol

Decisions, Decisions

Grr. I have a decision to make. Well, first of all, I'm not washing Marisol's hair, not anytime soon, at least. Maybe Samantha's or Molly's, but that's not important. Should I fix Christina's limbs? They really need it, but it would be really terrifying. I would use the method in the video that I mentioned in my post titled Doin' Some Research. But if I open her up and her elastics are in bad condition, then I couldn't do that procedure. I don't think I can go through with that!! And we might go on a once-in-a-dolltime trip, and I would take Christina. But I won't be comfortable carrying her around with her legs that loose (I don't have picture showing them, but imagine me holding her flat, her limbs would be approximately 90 degrees from where they should be. Yeah.) And if I do the surgery she'll be bed ridden on her birthday, too. Please comment and give me advice on what to do, I really need it.How can you not help this adorable doll? Yet how could you do something so, terrifying to it?

PLD,

Phoebe

P.S. I don't know for sure if we're going on the trip yet, but if we do, I'm gonna get #38!

Meet the Canidates: Molly

Hey, Phoebe's doll Molly here! As you know, I'm running for Mayor of our town, which is nicknamed "Dollville". If I was elected, we would have a more organized town with a group of dolls that organize parties, shop openings, and general organization! And, I believe that an education is important, so we would have a better classroom and more profitable lessons, including private studies. I would help with bed spots so everyone would be with a friend. Also, I would have only the necessary jobs in our town, so everyone will have more free time.
Well, Your Vote Counts! So please vote when a new poll is up!

PLD,

Molly

Moment of the Day: Day 3

Alright. . .This is a picture I took the day I got Lanie's Garden Outfit. I wanted to take some pictures of it, so I made a photo story of Lanie and Gwen walking Lulu, Sprocket, Coconut, and my other Coconut called Coco. Coco got loose and they were chasing him, but Lanie fell and this is a picture of him coming to see if they're alright. I just love this picture:). It's so sweet and really shows what a loving dog Coco is.

PLD,

Phoebe

P.S. When I was talking about Coco I wrote "him" I did that because since Coconut was originally released as a boy, one of mine is a girl and one is a boy.
