Goodbye 2010

Goodbye, farewell, vaarwell, au revoir, arrivederci. Time goes so quickly. :( It seems like 2010 just started and it's all ready gone! Well, I am going to list 10 of the most note able dollish things to happen in 2010. Starting with a girly people love.

1. Lanie Holland
GOTY 2010, Lanie will hold a special place in the AG archives, and in many homes. Lanie had a strong message about loving the planet we live on and the animals we live with, and this will be very sad to see AG's second blond Girl Of The Year go.

2. The Archival of Felicity Merriman and Elizabeth Cole
Felicity and Elizabeth, American Girl's Colonial girls, were announced to be retired earlier this year. They were the wonderful dolls that represented the revolutionary time in our country's history. It will be sad to see them go.

3. Innerstar U
AG's new online world, Innerstar U, lets young AG lovers find a safe, fun, online world where you can play games a a favorite MAG.

4. American Girl Place Kansas City
AG opened the newest store in Kansas City! Yay! Now more fans can go and visit only the best store on earth!

5. My American Girls
The Just Like Yous got a new name! Now AG's contemporary dolls are known as My American Girls, or MAG, or even My AG. Along with the new name the dolls also received a new purple meet!

~Note: The last 5 are personal doll happenings~

6. Love That Doll
Yup. Finally, on July 7, 2010, I got my blog! And I love it! Thank you to all my followers, we would be nothing without you!

7. Samantha Mae
In the Spring I was fortunate enough to complete my Original 3 collection by finding a beauty I call Samantha Mae at a yard sale.

8. American Girl Place Chicago/Gwendolyn
On August 1st, I was lucky enough to travel to Chicago and visit the American Girl Place Chicago at Water Tower Place and purchase my lovely Gwendolyn!

9. Sonali and Gwen
Early 2010 I found something rare, Sonali Mathews and Gwen Thompson were still available! So of course I couldn't pass up.

10. All of You!!!
I am very thankful to have all of my 28 followers! And all my comments; when you comment nicely I always enjoy reading them! A special thanks to all 28 of my followers: Carolyn (Sorry, I can't do the symbols!), Azalea Shanghai, Charlotte Dempsey, Gertie1999, beast'sbelle, Elizabeth, Ivy, The Crazy Doll Lady, Julie, American Girl Dolls Rock!!, Emily, AGDollPrincess, American Girl Doll Hairstyles, Rebecca, Sunny, princessclaire1000, Olivia, Miranda, American Girl Fan Club By Skylar, ~Quinlyn~, Anne, Hannah Wright, Caelen12, Claire, jerryberry, Maddi, Lisa, and Miranda.

Goodbye, 2010! The next time i post it will be a new year! ~Note: Those are just a few that I could think of, there are many more.~

PLD (I can't help it!),

P.S. Someone alerted me that I made a few errors on my Pullip info, I apologize and if you notice anything please let me know so I can fix it!

Pullips and Doll Beds

So someone asked what a Pullip is. Well a Pullip is a Korean fashion doll. They are around one foot (12 inches) tall and have large heads. They are ball and socket jointed dolls. Here are some pictures. And here is a picture of my favorite, Ddalgi. They are EXPENSIVE though.

Speaking of expensive, I found a link to a Kanani Catolouge on Olivia's Site, and noticed that doll prices are going up! From $95 to $100!

That doll bed that I got, is not from AG, it is the Our Genoration Canopy bed. Here's a pic:

Cute, huh? On a completely different note (again), I have a goal to reach 30 followers and 4,875 page views by my 6 month blogoversery. That's January 7th [My Grandmother's birthday. :)], so it gives me 10 days to get 3 followers and about 85 pageviews. Please help me out!

I be back!! (With new Girlies!!)

For some reason I want to put 'yar' after that. So today I'm working on putting pics on Picasa. When all of them are up I'll let you know. So to answer some questions, Miranda, I didn't wake up at 5 in the morning, It was a scheduled post. And Charlotte, I'm about to tell you all about my Christmas.

I hope you all had a Merry and joyful Christmas! I did. I have 3 new dolls! And they are Lissie, Lizzie, and Lucy!! Eeeeeeeeeek!! They are gorgeous!! My camera isn't with me so I can't put on pics, but I'll put up some tomorrow. I also got a doll bed, some Lissie and Lizzie outfits, and an amazing bracelet that has charms the spell out "LTD"! Of course my new girlie's are the best.

I'm thinking about changing 'PLD', most of you likely don't even know what it means and I've gotten tired of using it. So, have any of you heard of Liv dolls? Well, they are dolls about the size of Barbies and they have joints and changeable wigs. There are currently 5 different girls. Well, I got one for Christmas! They are pretty much (In my eyes), a cheaper version of Pullips. I can post about Pullips one day if you would like. But I got Hayden! I have the outdoor version and she came with a rabbit and has the prettiest wig. Pics soon!!

Kisses (like?),

Bye for Now!!!

Hey everybody!! It's the night before the day before the night before the day before the night before Christmas! Try saying THAT five times fast! LOL So yes. This will be my last post for a while. I'll have just a cute picture for Christmas, but my family is leaving tomorrow to visit other family. So I won't post again until Tuesday or Wednesday. Alyssa is coming with me and I decided not to take Bella.

I hope you all have a safe and pleasant holiday!

Merry Christmas,

Phoebe <<<- (That's supposed to be a tree)

Merry (early) Christmas!!

Did you ever notice how long it takes to check all the blogs you follow? Anyway, today I am going to have my dolls Christmas party. They will exchange gifts and mingle mostly, but 'food' is also served. Alyssa was the last to do her Christmas shopping, last night around 6:30ish. Maybe she can win an award for that. :)

Speaking of Alyssa, I will take her and my birthday present (Adorable...) when my family travels for Christmas. Alyssa's packing choice will be scary, it can be described in one word: Pink. Well, maybe not scary, but bright.

So, I bet your wondering what my present is that is coming with 'Lyssa? Well, she's a Bitty Baby!! Her name is Bella. I had a Bitty Baby that I got exactly 10 years before my Bella, but she went missing. So Alyssa and Bella are going to travel, two cuties!!

What are your dolls doing for Christmas?

A Post By Gwen :P

Not Gwendolyn, Gwen. I am not Dodo, but Gwen. Just to clarify. :P

So today we finished our Christmas photos. I had mine taken a while ago, but today Phoebe finished them and we had our group photo taken. I think they turned out great. Especially the one of me. (Note from Phoebe: All my dolls think they're the greatest thing ever, the fact is most of them are, to me, at least.) I have the coolest hairstyle EVER!!! So, like, some of the hair on the right side of my head was completely brushed over to the left and then we tied it down with a little orange ribbon. Marisol got big, loopy pin curls and a partial pony. Luccccckkkkkkkyyyyyyyyyy! We also finished most Christmas shopping or card making today. I was one of the very first ones done. Of course my recipient was super simple, otherwise I would have to try to find something at 11o'clock tomorrow night. Oh yeah, our party is Tuesday on the first official day of winter. Yeah. And Phoebe has not already gotten two snow days (Note: Sarcasm, I got two Snow Days and they were awesome.) But anywayyyyyyyy, tomorrow is the master's birthday.
Me: Gwen, don't say that, it makes me sound evil.
Gwen: Then what should I call you?
Me: Uh, try, maybe...MY NAME??
Gwen: Oh Yeah.
Anyway, tomorrow is Phoebe's birthday and she is very excited. She'll enter a new age group, very fun. Plus then it's only 5 days till Christmas and there is a doll box under her tree. We know this stuff good, a little too good. Well, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and hope you have a great start to 2011!!

Picasa and other things

I hope you have heard of Picasa. It is part of Google like Blogger is, but if you haven't heard of it, it is an online photo sharing place. And, the LTD dolls are now on Picasa!! YAY!! Actually, I created my account a while ago but never posted pictures until recently. My user name is Phoebe and I have my little flower thingy as my icon. Here is the link. I would love to know if you have a Picasa account.

So yesterday (and this morning) I had my party. It was great. Everybody could come and I think people enjoyed it. If you are a fan of my friend, Miranda's, blog, then you have probably heard about the gift she made for me. It's a necklace! It's one of those cool metal loop ones with the beads on it, and its purple, my favorite color!! My friends gave me lots of socks and hair clips, as well as a gift card to a book store and some money (Going to the Kanani-is-so-amazing-we-must-own-her fund.). One friend of mine got me some fishes!! They are two little bitty tanish-white fishes with darker stripes. They still don't have names and I have no clue what their species is!

I've had a great start to my winter break, but I still am in shock at the fact that I don't have to do anything and that I'm done with my super annoying Social Studies project. Have you started break yet?

P.s. I would love name ideas, I have no clue what to call my fishes! I love fishes!!

Moment of the Day: Day 11

I love the number 11.
This is another edited photo I made as my friend Miranda's birthday card. It's really wierd and random. But that was kind of the point. I took this photo at the town re-naming ceremony.

I posted this one todday because today is my birthday party!! My birthday is Monday but today was the last day of school before break so I wanted to have it today.

I am sooo sorry that I haven't been posting! Yesterday and Monday we had Snow Days but I never knew what to post so I never got around to it.

*Screeches with over whelming joy!!* Okay, not really, but GET THIS! I was just on Doll Diaries and I saw...................................................................................................................................................

She appears to have medium, wavy, brown hair, a medium skin tone, and brown eyes. For you 2005 fans, she does look a lot like Marisol (Or so I think). This is a doll I HAVE to get! Plus AG is releasing an Oodles of Ocean Fun book! That might not excite many of you, but I love sea creatures, so I'm looking forward to it!

I AM SOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!! OMT (Oh My Tallest, it's an Invader ZIM joke), I CAN'T WAIT FOR 2011!!

You MUST check this out!

P.S. Only 8 days until my birthday!! :)

Sunday, December 5, 2010

This is just a quick little post. I have two things to tell you.

First of all, I don't think I'll start another blog anytime soon. This is all ways a hectic time of the year (Mainly thanks to the projects ALL WAYS assigned in December!) so I can hardly post on this one, let alone another!

Secondly, yesterday it snowed! It was snowing pretty much all day, but it didn't get too cold so we only have about an inch. Luckily today it wasn't snowing so I took Lanie outside! It was the first time I took a doll out in the snow. You could still see the grass, but it was still nerve racking! We didn't stay out long, but it was still fun.

Okay, maybe there's something else. . .

There is this adorable cat that will come and visit our house during winter, it's a stray, and we will feed it, so recently I have gotten some pictures of it (Soon to be seen) and it was out there with me and Lanie. Apparently it doesn't like cameras. LOL

Welcome Back!

Hey everybody! I'm sooooo sorry I haven't posted in ages. Blogger wasn't working right so I could never upload my Thanksgiving pictures and I've had alot of homework. But, I'm back!! And I have some doll-related news.

Friday night my dolls decorated their tree! I have some pictures, too, of course! (If Blogger will let me upload them....) All but two have uploaded, so maybe I can get those up later.
My PCO3 (Pleasant Company Original 3) decorating the tree
Emily, Dodo, Timmy, and Alyssa having their first turn.
Note: See the lighthouse at the top? It plugs into one of the lights and really lights up!
When Molly reached for a dropped ornament, look at what she found!!
"When can I open it???" Molly asked.
I replied, " Molly, not until our party!!"
Sam had tto get a picture of her skirt that matches the tree skirt. I think it's just so cute!
In the process of devorating.
TA DA!! I nearly finished tree! All that's left is the topper!
Chrissa and Gwendolyn (Being the Mayor and newest arrival) got the honor of placing the bow on top of the tree!
The moment of awe before....
LIGHTS!! I know this picture is bad, but you get the idea :)
Yesterday I remembered that I had a garland (Ribbon with attached sequins that I got from Target), so here is the finished tree. As you can tell, I have some presents under the tree, but some of my dolls are last minute shoppers.
P.s. I read on Miranda's blog that her doll Chrissa might get a blog of her own. Lily already has one and so does the rest of her dolls. So I thought, I really like blogging/writing so maybe one of my dolls should get a blog of her own! What do you think, should one of my dolls get a blog, if so, who? BE HONEST, PLEASE, I WON'T BE OFFENDED IF YOU DON'T THINK SO!
