School, bro.

So today is my last day of summer break. Which is sad. But hey! Actually on second thought I can't think of a positive thing to say there.
Anyway, because of this I decided to do a post similar to my beginning of summer post!
If you remember (you probably don't, I hardly did!), this was going to be my "Summer Of Accomplishing Stuff". That didn't work out the way I wanted it. XD
So, here's what I expected myself to do over the summer:

"Photography FTW~!!"
In other words, take a lot of pictures, post a lot of stuff, get a lot of followers.... etc....
Here's what I actually did:
"One day the grammar on the internet is going to kill me."
AKA, traipse about the internet and accomplish next to nothing on a daily basis!

But about those goals I set for myself:
  1. Character development. On all the characters.
  2. Learn stuff/work on photography. :D (this one's my favorite)
  4. Do some really awesome thing with the girls.... It's a surprise, but I'll give you a hint. It's based off of something that we just studied in Social Studies and something that I actually mentioned on this blog!
And what happened with that?
  1. Well, I didn't develop characters the way I thought I would, but throughout the ADD stories I feel like I know some of their personalities better! So this one is accomplished! :D
  2. Erm, the past two months I haven't exactly had my camera around very much.... *face of shame* But I did do the 30 Day Challenge and that taught me several things about photography! Besides, I have made some pictures I'm quite happy with recently! So, mission accomplished enough!
  3. Click here and click here. Oh yeah. Accomplishing goals like a boss.
  4. That's ADD, which I have started. So that's obviously accomplished! :P
All in all, I've done pretty well with my goals, except for maybe the first two which aren't exactly as I would have liked to see them done. But I think that I did just fine!
Besides, even though I didn't accomplish a lot of stuff like I said I would, I finished my summer reading and enjoyed myself when I did literally nothing for days on end! And that's what's important, kids.

How was your summer? :) When do you go back to school?

I love you all,

Drawin' Shtuff!

So, this afternoon I finally decided to sit down and draw something. These are the results:
DUDE! I can't believe I drew that! Some of you might be thinking "Hm, I didn't know she drew". Well, neither did I! I've literally drawn maybe three to five things this summer. (Okay, about six but most of them are pretty horrible.)
I'm very happy with the way this turned out! It took me maybe an hour? I don't know. But after I was done my elbows were sore because I was lying on my stomach resting on them. :3 But anyway... if you were wondering why I drew some weird dude with pointy teeth then here is what I based it off of:
(This picture does not belong to me.)

This is just one of six pictures I used to base mine off of. But anyway, it's supposed to be this red-headed reaper named Grelle.

So this was completely unrelated to dolls, sorry about that. But I just wanted to share this with you! :D I'm so completely happy with how it turned out!

Peace Out,

Wonderland Trio (& Boring Updates)

Hey! I hope you're doing well today, it's been a while, huh?
Sorry about that!

If you haven't picked up on this, I really like the Alice in Wonderland collection by Liv. I also just like Alice in Wonderland in general! It's an awesome book, Lewis Carroll is insane, and I love it. But anyhow, notice anything different about my Wonderland dolls?
Well, on Wednesday I added this lovely lady to the group! She's Katie as the Mad Hatter! :D
She's just so pretty! (Probably my favorite Wonderland doll... don't tell the others!) Plus, she's super duper photogenic! Her pictures turned out much better than the others. :3
Along with the doll, she has those little fingerless gloves; those also came on my other Katie. She has a pink hat on a headband, a stack of three cups that are permanently attached, and the cutest purple boots ever!
But, Livs are disappearing quickly! So I would recommend trying to get one now if you ever want one. T^T
he he he...
Isn't Nilly pretty, too?
Well, while I was outside taking pictures the lovely cat who has taken residence on out front porch, who is called Ed (even though it's a girl), decided that she had to be out there when I get the camera out. This is a normal occurrence. ;)
So I pleased both Ed and myself and captured this lovely moment! :D

Anyway, I still haven't thought of a name for my lovely hatter. I thought about Maddie, but that would be way too cliche. So if you have any suggestions, I would love to hear!

Onto boring updates! You don't have to read this... I just want to vent.
So anyway next Thursday is my first day of school. *tears* Which means that ADD will be even slower than it has been already.... I just kind of hit a wall with how to write the next part. I still have the next story to post but after that don't be expecting anything for a while. But you know what? This is actually kind of fitting to the symbolism of the event! So that's okay.
But, I'm just writing a lot of stuff right now. Or trying to but not actually accomplishing anything. I have to work on ADD, finish this crack fic I'm writing for myself and my friend Erin (it's about anime characters singing Owl City and LMFAO), I should probably work on Bridgette's story again, and I have this one thing that I started at the beginning of summer that I just work on when I feel like it.
BUT THEN THE HOMEWORK!! Eh.... so anyway, what I mean by all of this is that you shouldn't hate me when I don't post for weeks at a time either in general or for ADD. I just run out of ideas, time, and motivation.
That's everything of relevance, but I'm going to keep talking anyway.
So like I mentioned I'm going back to school on Thursday, which is something I really don't want to do. I'm not going to have any time for my dollies, or for my blog, and my friends are probably going to talk me into going to a social event like a school football game that I really don't want to go to. -_- And I only have one class with my best friend. And I just really don't like to go into public. At all. I don't like the people that I go to school with except for maybe ten to fifteen people who I have next to zero classes with.
On top of that, I'm really afraid of heights and my school this year is two levels. D: Not fun! eeep

I'm really sorry for going on like that but I just wanted to tell someone, even if someone is maybe the two people on the internet who took the time to read that. I like to try and keep this positive, but I'm really upset about going back to school so I'm super duper sorry times EIGHT THOUSAND FIFTY TWO!!

As an apology and a positive note to end on, here's a photo I (really poorly) edited with Caroline Abbott's and Fred Aberline's heads on some random bodies from PicMonkey:

This amuses me greatly. XD

Peace Out, lovelies,

La Dee Da Doll Review

This is going to have a lot of photos and a lot of words.
You've been warned.

Recently (okay, the 1st of August) I had the pleasure of finding a La Dee Da doll in Target for the first time! So of, course, I bought one! The one that I got was City Girl Dee. As far as I know, Dee is the only one with a City Girl version. This is one of the many photos of her in her box. Isn't she adorable?
Just, precious, right? Well, Dee is part of the La Dee Da doll series which is a group of aspiring fashion designers who go to design school in New York City- hence all of the crazy themes in the two other lines (Sweet Party and Runway Vacay)- and have a fashion label called, yep, La Dee Da! Dee came with an adjustable dress (explained later), a blue cardigan, red leggings that can be adjusted, blue heels, a pair of dee-lightful ;) earrings, a flower for her hair, a bow that can be moved, a doll stand, a little book with a craft in it, and a folder with stickers.
Closer view of her face. As you can see, one of her eyes has blue-ish green spikes in the make up. I'm thinking that since this is the City Girl version this is meant to be based after the Statue of Liberty. It may seem obnoxious a little, but it's really quite cute!
Her hair has red underneath and in the bangs. Also in the bangs are some shiny pieces, which are really cute. Her hair is easy to manage. Although I haven't tried to style it yet, it's pretty easy aside from the fact it keeps getting stuck in her earrings.
Speaking of earrings, one of them is a yellow pair of scissors, and the other is a blue sewing machine! They're super cute, but my photos of them didn't turn out well enough to share.
The flower in her hair, which is kind of cropped out.... whoops, can be removed with some initial difficulty of taking out the plastic holding it in. However, after that it's difficult to stay in and, much to my disappointment, it is too large to take the place of the removable Velcro bow on her dress.
A closer look at her dress and jacket. The jacket is really cute and I'm very fond of this piece! But you do have to take off her bracelet/pin cushion in order to get it off.
And that dress! I just love her dress! The print is simply adorable and the bow can be moved off of her waist and down to the cute pink tulle around the hem. (This is where it is right now on Dee.)
Also, on the back of her dress there is a red ribbon sticking out that you can pull on to change her dress style. This is also very cute, but then you'll have this random red ribbon sticking out of her dress.... but that can be dealt with. (I apologize for my poorly done nail polish! :P)
The dress in it's other form. This is also how Dee is wearing hers right now. I actually prefer this style to the other despite the tail she has.
ONTO THE LEGGINGS!! Sorry about the red background. When I set this up I didn't even realize that she would match her backdrop. Hey, fashion miracle! Just kidding, I know nothing about fashion. XD
Anyway, with her leggings worn as high as they can, like she came in the box, it gives the illusion of mid-calf (?), red, fish-net tights. But wait just one second, because they aren't tights! They are leggings!
So this means that you can pull them down and have leg warmers! How cute! This is probably one of my favorite adjustable things about this doll. I don't think the others have anything adjustable about them, but they have plenty else. ;)
Here's a look at her knee joints. She bends only at the knees, hip, and shoulder. Her head also rotates from side to side but it doesn't go up and down at all hardly.
This is as far as her knees bend. :)
And her shoes! They are very cute little blue and red heels made out of Polly Pocket-like rubber. So, because of this and the fact that she's top heavy she cannot stand on her own. Luckily they give you a stand! It attaches just above her knees.
Here are the little extras she comes with. The folder is like shiny paper, so it might not do too well with little girls. The folder is still very cute and conveniently holds three "sketches" of her outfits she has dee-signed. One is the Dee from Runway Vacay called Bollywood Bright, the middle one is Cyanne as Peppermint Rose from Sweet Party. The one on the far right is her dog, Le Bun. These are stickers that you could put somewhere, which is really cute! But I'm keeping mine as sketches for Dee. :)

This is with all of the dolls that I had around conveniently, with the exception of one who shall be posted on at a later date.
Rebecca (American Girl) next to Dee. AG is MUCH bigger than La Dee Da. He he...
Mini Ivy (miniature American Girl) next to Dee. The minis are around six inches, I believe.
(Please excuse my lovely cat in the next few photos, she's kind of an attention hog when the camera is out. ) Dee next to Frankie (Monster High). These two are about the same height, but Dee has a much larger head and the two have similarly shaped posture.
Dee next to a Halloween Barbie.
Dee next to my lovely Hayden (Liv). Hayden and the Livs are taller than Dee by around a couple of inches, but the two dolls are built very differently. Liv's have a more realistic body shape while Dee has the same kind as Monster High (kind of), with an arched back and a bottom that's kind of big. But, Dee doesn't have one nearly as big as Frankie's.
Okay that was awkward to wright....
Dee next to Bella (16 inch American Girl Bitty Baby, same size as Bitty Twin.)
Dee next to Kadence (BFC Ink doll).
(Isn't Kitty so pretty?? *squeee!!*)
Here Dee is next to a tiny doll I found in my basement recently! They're called Yummi Land dolls and are no longer available. They are much smaller than Dee is, but I found something interesting about them.

See how similar their faces are? Or is it just me? Well, I thought that they had a similar look in the face, the shape of it and such. I thought this was interesting and just wanted to share. Maybe the same minds behind Yummi Land are the ones behind La Dee Da? If you know anything about this I would love to know!

Anyway, all in all I would have to say that I just love Dee. She is gorgeous and very nice. I love her wardrobe and all the possibilities to change it! Along with that, the rest of the line is very cute as well and I'll probably be adding a few of those to the top of my desk with Dee. (Like Tylie as Kabuki Cutie and Cyanne as Viva La France!) Although her joints aren't as extravagant as other dolls, she is still just wonderful!

Unfortunately, though, one day when I went out for a small photo shoot with Dee I noticed that she had gotten a blue mark on her nose and chin. This was likely my own fault, even though I have no idea what I did but I can be pretty clumsy. D: I've tried to use soap, a magic eraser, and a dryer sheet per suggestion of my mom but none of it worked! If anyone also knows how to take off this stain I will love you forever and mention you in a post sometimes. <3 strong="strong">

Well, thank you for reading! I hope you enjoyed my dee-lightful post! (Okay I think I've worn out that joke now.) What do you think of these dolls? If you would like to see the other dolls that La Dee Da offers you can visit their website here where the dolls are shown and there are some other fun activities. :)

Peace Out!

AGMV, women! :D

Hey there people of the internet. Waddup?

Anyway, today I'm uploading to my YouTube channel something that I've wanted to do for a long time but just never got around to a simple, good idea that I could finish in a reasonable amount of time.
That's right: An American Girl Music Video.
I FINALLY MADE ONE!! YAY!! That was one of my summer goals, too. :) I think that I've achieved at least two of the other ones, but this one and ADD are my favorites by far.

So go click HERE to watch it. :)

Anyway... the song I used was Rugs From Me To You from my favorite artist, Owl City back when his music wasn't all.... like it is now. But that's a story that none of you want to hear. I had wanted to make a video with this song for Liv dolls, since the song is about hair loss and you can take off their wigs I thought it would be cute. :3 So I just took the Liv wigs and used Lilianna instead!
The little story I put at the beginning of her in class was inspired by Anttonina and how she puts a little clip of story before AGMVs. :) I didn't mean to copy her, though. She just helped to spark an idea.

I actually have all of the clips for another music video for a song by a YouTuber but I couldn't figure out how to get the song.... so I made this one too. ;)
Okay this is getting weird and ranty, but I just want to say that I know that the video isn't the *best* ever, but it's my first one and I tried. Sorry it's not a stop motion but it was hot outside and I barely had the patience for this.... let alone stop motion.

Peace Out, my darlings!

P.S. On a slightly related note... my Mr. Cloud series is done! :D

Updated Room Tour with Samantha!

"Hello! It's Samantha here today and I thought that I would show you the way around our newly redesigned doll room!"
"First off, I'll start in the living area. This is the spot just in front of the door when you walk inside. Here there are some inflatable couches from Build-A-Bear."
"Over to the side of the living area between it and a bedroom is the music table. This is where we keep all of our instruments and the phonograph. Basically the only reason we have this is because we needed a place to put the table and Phoebe really wanted to make a music table."
"Right over to the side of the living area is our new bedroom! First there are two beds from Ikea and Marisol's dance trunk."
"Past the two Ikea beds is where our Our Generation canopy bed is with the dresser we turned into a bookshelf!"
"Across from the canopy is another Our Generation trundle bed next to a small jewelry box that has been turned into a bedside table."
"In the other bedroom, which is right between the two doors where the big table used to be Phoebe moved the bunk bed we bought at a yard sale."
"Next to that is Mia's bedroom set!"
"Back on the otherside of the room close to the first bedroom is where we moved the big table. Underneath is where our two other doll tables are creating the dining room."
"Placed in the small corner between the table and the wall is where the kitchen is now!"
"On top of the table is an expanded part of the towns, the small doll area for Livs, a couple of Barbies, and Frankie from Monster High."
"Next to the kitchen we have this wall underneath a window that was kept empty for random purposes!"
"Now, inside the closet! Half of the closet is just used for storage for things that were in the doll room before that Phoebe doesn't want sent to the basement just yet."
"On the other side of the closet is the bathroom where we have a vanity area, a bathtub, our pet birds, and an ironing board."
"Well, that's about all I have for you today! Thanks for joining me! If you would like a closer look at any of the rooms just comment below and we'll be happy to make one! You could even request a doll to do the tour, but we know that doll would be me, wouldn't it?"

Thanks for reading. ;)

(Sorry if this is kind of lame. It's the middle of the night. *yawns*)
